Work permit

The work permit is provided by the Ministry of Labor to a foreigner
who works in Ho Chi Minh City.

The applicant must meet the following requirements to apply for a work
permit in Ho Chi Minh City :

• Over 18 years old.
• A medical certificate.
• Criminal record from the origin's country.
• Proof of employment with foreign company.
• Notarized copy of passport.
• Have a high degree of specialized knowledge.

The validity of the work permit for Vietnam is 12, 24 or 36 months.
The applicant can apply for a work permit renewal.
