What is the function of a representative office in Vietnam?

The representative office is used to market products and / or services
of a company outside Vietnam.

The representative office does not allow :

• to buy commercial premises.
• to manufacture products.
• to import and / or export products.
• to buy and / or sell products and / or services.
• to sign professional contracts.
• to recover VAT.

The representative office only allows :

• to rent commercial premises.
• to have employees.
• to promote products and / or services of a company.
• to analyze a local market in Vietnam.
