What are the conditions for a foreign investor to buy a land in Vietnam?

• A foreign investor can buy a land with any type of visa including
  
  with a tourist visa.
• A foreign investor must buy a land from a real estate developer
  
  in a new real estate project (type industrial zone or buildable zone).
• A foreign investor buys a land for a period of 50 years, but this period
  
  may be extended.
• A foreign investor must set up a business in Vietnam if he wishes to buy
  
  several lands in Vietnam.
• A foreign investor can rent and sell his land or bequeath the property
  
  to his family or loved ones.
• A foreign investor can buy a land from another foreign investor under
  
  the same conditions.
